Suzuki Gixxer 250 gets power from a 249cc, Suzuki Oil Cooling System (SOCS) four-stroke, single-cylinder fuel injection SOHC engine. The bike comes with a promise of improved performance, and a chassis developed exclusively for Indian market.
SOCS tech is adapted from the GSX-R. The engine returns 26.5ps@9000 rpm and 22.6Nm@7500 rpm power mated to a 6-speed gearbox. Suzuki Gixxer 250 features dual channel Anti-Lock Brake System (ABS) for improved braking performance.
2019 Suzuki Gixxer 250 is a naked 250cc sports bike. It gets a gold coloured finish in the engine and alloy wheels with polished edges that are carried forward from the Gixxer SF250. It gets SF250’s rear end, chrome tipped double barrel exhausts and a full digital instrument cluster.
Since Suzuki Gixxer 250 will enter the premium segment, it will get several options of a seat cover, DC socket on handle bars for charging of mobile, a wheel rim sticker and tank protector. The newly launched Suzuki GIXXER 250 is available in two colour schemes – combination of Metallic Matte Platinum Silver/ Metallic Matte Black; and a Metallic Matte Black colour retailing at a price of INR 159,800 (ex-showroom Delhi).
