Suzuki Gixxer 150 was on display at the 2014 Auto Expo after which the company remained tightlipped about its actual launch which has finally been confirmed. The new Gixxer which is slated to replace the ageing GS150R in the 150cc segment is aimed at a younger and adventurous set of buyers. Once launched, it will compete with Bajaj Pulsar, Honda CB Trigger, TVS Apache and Yamaha FZ.
No specific details of the new single cylinder Gixxer are available while only a red/blue color has been confirmed. It will possess Suzuki Eco Performance resulting in significant cuts in mechanical losses while design efficiency is at its peak.
