Suzuki GSX-R150 based Cafe Racer showcased – Photos
At the Indonesia Motor Show, Suzuki has revealed a Cafe Racer variant of their popular 150 cc motorcycle.
The new Suzuki GSX-R150 and GSX-S150 have been unveiled at the Indonesia International Motor Show 2017 being held from 27th April to 7th May 2017. Along with the two new 150cc machines, Suzuki has also revealed a one-off cafe racer variant based on the same bike.
The Suzuki GSX-R150 custom café racer is the fully faired version, modified by Insan Motor Bekasi. This Indonesian custom motorcycle company has made this possible by replacing 60% of its original parts.
Features on board with the GSX-R150 cafe racer are – twin petal disc brakes in front, new seat with pillion seat cowl and an exposed engine along with a new headlamp unit, circular console with LED ring and body colored guards on radiator.
Suzuki GSX-R150 cafe racer measures 2,020 mm in length, 700 mm in width and 1,075 mm in height. Ground clearance is at 160 mm and seat height is at 785 mm with a total kerb weight of 131 kgs. It gets powered by a 147.3cc single cylinder, water cooled DOHC engine offering 19.17 PS power at 10,500 rpm and 14 Nm peak torque at 9,000 rpm mated to a 6 speed gearbox.
New Suzuki GSX-R150 and S150 are new generation variants of the Gixxer SF and the Gixxer on sale in India. It is not clear whether these two will be launched in India or not.
