Suzuki GSX-S750 launched in India at INR 7.45 lakhs

On Wednesday, Suzuki Motorcycle India Pvt. Ltd., officially launched the new GSX-S750 in India. This is the company’s first offering in the sub-1000cc big-bike segment and the company’s second CKD model in the country (First is Hayabusa).

Calling it their Apex Predator, new Suzuki GSX-S750 boasts of aggressive styling and a powerful engine and is presented in two color options of Metallic Triton Blue/Glass Sparkle Black and Glass Sparkle Black/Candy Daring Red.

It is seen in an innovative new body style with an aggressive headlamp design, chiseled fuel tank, moulded mirrors, vented front fender and angular tail section along with an integrated LED tail lamp.

The new Suzuki naked machine boasts of a three mode traction control system for sporting mode, normal road conditions and maximum traction control when riding on bad roads. It also receives KYB inverted front forks and Anti Lock Braking System by NISSIN.

New Suzuki GSX-S750 is also fitted with Bridgestone BATTLAX HYPERSPORT S21 tyres and its LCD instrument panel is customizable with adjustable brightness. The LCD panel includes a speedometer, tachometer, odometer and dual trip meters. It spells out traction control mode status, coolant temperatures and fuel consumption and the tachometer readout can be personalized from a choice of 5 display patterns.

Suzuki GSX-S750 measures 2,125mm in length, 785mm in width and 1,055mm in height. It gets a 1,455mm long wheelbase, 135mm of ground clearance and seat height at 820mm.

Engine specifications on include a 746cc, 4 cylinder, DOHC, fuel injected engine offering 84 kW power at 10,500 rpm and 81 Nm torque at 9,000 rpm mated to a six-speed constant mesh transmission.

With its aggressive stance, comfortable ergonomics and highly responsive engine, Suzuki expects the new GSXS750 to dominate the biking scenario in India and find favor with adventure bikers in the country.
