Suzuki iM-4 concept was revealed at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show earlier this year, will make its global debut at the 2015 Tokyo Motor Show later this month, as Ignis. Now, based on the Ignis, Suzuki has announced yet another concept, called the Suzuki Ignis Trail Concept. This too will make global debut at the same event.
Ignis Trail Concept is basically a much better equipped and a cooler looking Ignis Compact SUV. Compared to the Ignis, Trail Concept gets red accents on its exteriors, roof rails, blackened roof, red accents on the alloys, and larger wheels.
On the inside, Ignis Trail Concept gets a chunkier leather wrapped steering wheel in dual colours. It also gets dual coloured leather seats (as against fabric seats in the production ready Ignis) with SmartPlay infotainment touchscreen.
Suzuki has not revealed what will be powering the new Ignis Trail Concept. But considering the size of this car, it will most likely feature the new 1.0 liter BoosterJet three cylinder petrol engine from Suzuki. This engine is rated to deliver 110 PS peak power.
More details will be revealed once the car is actually revealed. Until then, have a look at the photo galleries below.
