Suzuki Intruder SP Edition arrives at dealership – Sales commence
Price starts from Rs 1 lakhs, ex-showroom.
Following launch at the end of September, Suzuki Intruder SP edition bikes have been dispatched to dealerships, and bikers having started taking delivery earlier this week.
Available in carburettor and FI variants, Suzuki Intruder SP edition is available at a retail price of Rs 1,00,500 and Rs 1,07,300 (Ex-Showroom, Delhi). That’s an additional Rs 505 for carburettor variant, and Rs 404 for FI variant.
When compared with regular variants, Suzuki Intruder SP edition wears matte black paint with red accents, and gets a pillion backrest with Intruder badging. The Candy Sanoma red accent line runs across the side panel – fuel tank to rear. All variants are feature Anti- Lock Brake System (ABS).
Launched last year, Suzuki Intruder has been available with ABS. In its newest avatar, changes are limited to the aforementioned additions. With power from a 154.9 cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled, SOHC engine, Intruder delivers max power of 14.8 PS at 8,000 rpm and max torque of 14 Nm at 6,000 rpm. Intruder is mated to a 5-speed gearbox/transmission.
Regular features include a digital instrument console, twin exhaust muffler, disc brakes, telescopic front suspension, and adjustable rear monoshock at the rear. Through September 2018, the company sold 954 units of Intruder. Intruder rivals the likes of Bajaj Avenger in India.
