Suzuki has not revealed what will be these new motorcycles. One of the new motorcycles could be their Gixer 150, which was recently spotted on test in India. Noting the ride position from spy image, the upcoming Gixer is purely a commuter bike while mono shock absorbers were also evident. It will compete in the 150 cc segment with the likes of Bajaj Pulsar 150 (150 NS), Yamaha FZ, Honda CB Trigger, Hero Achiever, etc.
Apart from the Gixer, Suzuki can also re-launch their Inazuma 250, which was launched last week without much celebrations in Bangalore. Currently, Suzuki Motorcycle India sells three scooters – Access 125, Access 125 (SE), and Swish 125. Their motorcycle range includes of Inazuma, GS150R, Hayate and Slingshot Plus. Their superbike segment includes, GSX-R1000, GSX-R1000Z, Hayabusa, Hayabusa (LE), Bandit 1250SA, Intruder M1800R, Intruder M800, and Intruder M1800 (B.O.S.S).
It is the motorcycle and scooter segment which is getting the most sales. This is also the segment which will see the addition of new variants in the coming years, due to growing demand. Today too, we expect new motorcycles to be launched in this segment. Stay tuned to Rush Lane as we bring you LIVE updates and images from the Salman Khan starred Suzuki launch event in Mumbai.
