At the ongoing 2016 Bangkok Motor Show, Suzuki has unveiled a new special edition of their best selling hatchback Swift. Called Suzuki Swift Sai Edition, it is showcased in three colour options on the show floor. Of the three, only one of them is a new colour option, while the other two (white and red) are already on offer in the market.
The one new colour on offer with Suzuki Swift Sai Edition is called Moonlight Violet. Other updates on the exterior are black honeycomb front grille, three chrome slats on the radiator grille, LED DRL on the sides of foglamp, decals on the side, new alloys, Sai branding on the fuel led and under the Swift logo at the rear.
Moving on, inside the new Swift Sai Edition you will find all black dashboard with leather wrapped steering wheel, 4 inch infotainment system with colour display, instrument panel with speedometer, tachometer and MID. Leather cum fabric seat covers with white borders, dual Airbags, ABS, EBD, keyless entry, start/stop, engine immobilizer, etc.
Under the hood of Suzuki Swift Sai Edition is a 1.2 liter petrol 4 cylinder motor which generates peak power of 91 PS and max torque of 118 Nm. Transmission is taken care by a CVT gearbox.
It is not clear why exactly the variant is called Sai Edition. We did ask the officials around the car, but failed to understand what they were trying to explain.
