Suzuki Swift Sport Yellow Rev is the fastest and lightest Swift

Swift Yellow Rev concept is based on the Suzuki Swift Sport. It gets a special paint finish of High Chroma Yellow Pearl. The body is painted in this yellow color scheme while pillars and roof get black paint with glass tinted in black.

New Suzuki Swift Sport Yellow Rev is also seen with white and grey graphics with sporty decals. The front grille is blackened while multi spoke alloy wheels are also given a sporty black finish.

There are aero kits on front bumpers and side skirts while the black alloy wheels with red brake calipers add to the sporty stance of the car. Also on offer are new LED headlamps. Positioned on the HEARTECT platform, the new Swift Sport gets some added features as compared to its regular variant.

It is the addition of these new features, like lighter bumpers, alloys, sports seats, etc which make this version of Swift the lightest till date. Interiors feature a similar black and yellow theme, as seen on the outside. Foot pedals are finished in brushed aluminium, giving a sporty touch.

The sport bucket seats feature a special yellow stitching, so does the dashboard and steering wheel. On the center is a touchscreen infotainment system which is compatible with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto. It also has USB ports, Bluetooth and AUX connectivity. For safety, you get 6 SRS airbags, ABS with EBD and lane departure warning along with weaving alert function.

The standard version of Swift Sport is powered by a 1.4 liter Boosterjet turbo, 4 cylinder engine offering 138 hp power and 230 Nm torque. Acceleration from 0 to 100 kmph is achieved in 8.1 seconds. On board the concept, the engine is refined to deliver better driving dynamics. This engine ensures better handling and drivability on the new Swift Sport.

Launch of Maruti Swift Sport in India has been ruled out. The reason being, it will be very costly. If launched, the Swift Sport could be priced in the region of Rs 25 lakhs. At this price, it will not find many buyers in the country. Instead, Maruti is planning to launch Swift RS in India. It will be same as Baleno RS, powered by 1.0 liter turbo engine, which delivers 104 PS and 150 Nm. Pricing could be in the Rs 8 lakh range.
