Tata Motors heralds in the festive season with discounts and exchange offers being presented on their range of vehicles. These discounts are through the month of September 2019 on Hexa, Nexon, Tiago, Tigor and Harrier and ranging from Rs.50,000 to Rs.1.50 lakhs.
The offers are in view of the festive season which started with Onam being celebrated in Kerala to Ganesh Chaturthi and thereon to Navaratri, Dusshera and Diwali, ahead of which the company expects to see some increase in sales.
The offers include cash discounts and exchange benefits on old cars along with special schemes for Government employees and corporate. Tata Motors has also entered into an agreement with various banks and financial companies for 100 percent on road finance to customers along with lower EMI rates all through this festive season.
The modelwise offers include Rs.1.50 lakhs worth of benefits on the MY 2018 Tata Hexa. This includes a cash discount of Rs.1 lakh, exchange bonus of Rs.35,000 and corporate benefit of Rs.15,000. Tata Hexa is currently priced between Rs. 12.99 lakhs and Rs. 18.37 lakhs and is offered in variants of XE, XM, XMA, XM+, XT, XTA and XT 4×4.
Tata Nexon currently faces stiff competition from Hyundai Venue and Mahindra XUV300. Buyers of the new Nexon can avail of festive offers to the tune of Rs.85,000 which includes a cash discount of Rs.55,000 along with exchange bonus of Rs.25,000 and corporate discount of Rs.5,000. For MY 2019 Nexon the exchange bonus is set at Rs.25,000, corporate discount at Rs.7,500 and cash discount of Rs.15,000 for petrol and Rs.25,000 for diesel variants.
Tata Tiago and Tiago NRG hatchbacks comes in with a festive offer of Rs.70,000 while this goes up to Rs.1,15,000 on the Tata Tigor. The Tata Harrier is also being offered with festive discounts to the tune of Rs.50,000 which includes an exchange offer and corporate benefit of Rs.35,000 and Rs.15,000 respectively.
These discount offers and festive benefits come at a time when Tata Motors has posted one of its lowest ever monthly sales in recent time. Sale of passenger vehicles in the past month dipped as much as 58 percent, down to 7,316 units as against 17,351 units sold in August 2018.
Tata Motors is confident that the new festive offers, driving in special updates to the Tata Harrier and the recently introduced financial package as announced by the Finance Ministry will bring in better sales this time of the year.
