Tata enters Vietnam with locally assembled SuperAce mini truck
Tata Motors launched their first commercial vehicle in Vietnam through local partners TMT Motors. Tata Motors SuperAce Mini truck is being locally assembled and is currently on offer across 7 sales points in Northern Vietnam with sales set to expand across the country.
Apart from India, new Tata SuperAce is now on sale in Indonesia, Philippines, Thailand, South Africa, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Ghana and India.
Tata SuperAce mini truck with payload of 1 ton is ideally suited for both inter and intra city transportation of loads that include cement, food grain, construction items, fruit and vegetables. It is offered in both petrol and diesel engine options and offers high level of power and fuel efficiency while top speed stands at 130 kmph.
Tata Motors SuperAce Mini truck is powered by a 1,405 cc, four cylinder diesel engine offering 70 hp peak power at 4,500 rpm and a 1,396 cc petrol engine capable of 85 hp power at 5,500 to 6,000 rpm. Both engines get mated to a 5 speed gearbox. Fuel efficiency stands at 17.9 kmpl where the diesel engine is concerned while the petrol engine offers 10.2 kmpl.
On board features include large brakes with Load Conscious Regulating Valve, front strut type and real leaf suspensions and hydraulic double acting telescopic suspensions. Currently presented in one trim – Tata SuperAce Diesel DLE and Tata SuperAce Petrol GLE, the mini truck receives air conditioning, power steering and power windows.
