Tata Harrier Atlas Black colour listed by dealer – Partners with IPL 2019

Even though the company’s official website is yet to list the ‘Atlas Black’ color option for the Tata Harrier, the company’s authorized dealership has mentioned this color option in a document to Team BHP member hridayjyoti. As per the document, the new colour option, will be presented on the Tata Harrier XM, XT, and XZ variants.

Tata Harrier was launched in January this year. It is offered in five color options of Calisto Copper, Ariel Silver, Orcus White, Telesto Grey, and Thermisto Gold and four variants of XE, XM, XT and XZ. The new ‘Atlas Black’ color option is not offered on the base trim which is on sale only with ‘Orcus White’ color scheme while the ‘Calisto Copper’ paint scheme, seen on all promotions of the Harrier, is only offered with line XT and XZ trims.

Apart from this, there has been one more development with the Harrier. It has now replaced Nexon, and become the official car partner of 2019 Indian Premier League which starts on 23rd March.

Tata Harrier is priced from Rs.12.69 lakhs to Rs.16.25 lakhs, ex-sh. It measures 4,598 mm long, 1,894 mm wide and 1,706 mm tall. It gets a wheelbase of 2,741 mm and ground clearance of 205 mm while boot space is of 425 liter capacity which can be boosted to 810 liters with the rear seats folded down. The Harrier is offered with three driving modes of City, Eco and Sport and in terrain response systems of Normal, Wet and Rough.

Tata Harrier is powered by a Fiat sourced 2.0 liter Multijet II turbo diesel engine. This engine gets an electronically controlled Variable Geometry Turbocharger (eVGT) allowing for peak power of 140 PS and peak torque of 350 Nm, mated to a 6 speed manual transmission. This diesel engine is not compliant with BS-VI norms as of now. But will be updated to meet BS6 norms in the future.
