Tata Harrier JBL music system teased – New benchmark in car entertainment

Tata Motors is just days away from officially revealing their new Harrier SUV to the world. Ahead of that the company has now started revealing interesting features of the car via teaser videos. The latest teaser video shows the JBL music system on board the Harrier.

Speaking about the same, Tata Motors says – “Witness each beat and note of your tunes amplified to perfection by the state-of-the-art JBL speakers of the Tata Harrier. Stay tuned to witness the SUV that’s guaranteed to be music to your ears.” Watch the teaser video below.

Harrier utilizes the ‘Optimal Modular Efficient Global Advanced’ Architecture (Omega Arc) platform, which is a tweaked version of Land Rover D8 platform. D8 platform can be seen on Land Rover Discovery Sport, the Evoque and the I-Pace.

The platform has undergone rigorous testing for 2.2 million kilometres, which demonstrates Harrier’s tough and rugged characteristics. Omega Arc platform also improves driving dynamics, reduces vibrations and ensures better control and stability at high speeds.

Speaking about design, on the top, there’s a shark fin antenna and rear roof spoiler with integrated brake light. Rear window has reverse camera and parking sensors along with rear wash and wiper system. On the sides, Harrier has muscular wheel arches and prominent shoulder line that stretches from the front fender all the way to the back. B and C pillars are done in black, which give a floating roof effect to Harrier.

Tata Harrier is expected to be priced in the range of Rs 13 lakh to Rs 16 lakh. Bookings have already started online and at Tata dealerships for Rs 30,000. Harrier launch will take place in early January 2019 and deliveries will begin in the same month. Once launched, it will rival Nissan Kicks, Hyundai Creta and Jeep Compass.
