Tata Harrier SUV has been officially revealed. Each and every detail about the car has been revealed by Tata Motors. Bookings of the car are open at company dealerships as well as online. You can book one by paying an advance of Rs 30,000, which is fully refundable if you decide to cancel booking later.
In the earlier post about Tata Harrier, we covered about its prices and engine specs. In this post we will talk about the variant wise features of Tata Harrier, and the colour options on offer.
The base variant, Tata Harrier XE will offer Parking sensors, Dual airbags ABS with EBD, Speed sensitive door locks, Central locking, Seatbelt reminder, Projector headlamps, LED tail-lamps, LED DRLs, 16-inch steel wheels, Manual AC, 4-inch MID, Power adjustable wing mirrors, Four-way adjustable driver’s seat, Tilt and telescopic adjustable steering wheel, Puddle lamps, Rear AC vents, and Power windows. Price is Rs 16 lakhs on road (expected).
Above this is the Tata Harrier XM variant. In addition to XE, it will offer 7.0-inch infotainment touchscreen with four speakers and two tweeters, Front fog lamps, Rear wiper Boot lamp, Rear parcel shelf, Steering-mounted audio controls, USB, Aux and Bluetooth compatible audio system, Remote central locking, Multi Drive modes for the engine (Eco, City and Sport), Follow me home headlamps and Six-way adjustable driver’s seat. Price expected is Rs 17.5 lakhs on road.
Above the XE, is the Tata Harrier XT variant. It gets 17-inch alloy wheels, Dual function LED DRLs, Audio system with four speakers and four tweeters, Voice recognition and SMS readout, Video playback and image display via USB, Apple CarPlay (will come at a later date), Android Auto, Rear defogger, Push-button start, Reverse camera, Climate control system, Power folding and adjustable wing mirrors, 8-way adjustable driver’s seat, Automatic headlamps and wipers, Cooled storage under the front centre armrest, Cruise control, and Rear armrest with cup holders. Price expected is Rs 19.5 lakhs.
On the top is the Tata Harrier XZ variant. It gets Front fog lamps with cornering function, Xenon HID projector headlamps, Shark fin antenna, leather gear shift knob, leather door panels, Leather seats, leather steering wheel, 8.8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, 7.0-inch digital instrument display (MID), Nine JBL speakers (four speakers, four tweeters and a sub-woofer) with an amplifier, Terrain response modes (Normal, Wet and Rough), ESP, Six airbags (Driver, Co-Driver, Seat Side & Curtain), Hill-hold and hill-descent control, Isofix child seat mounts, Roll-over mitigation, Traction control, Corner stability control, 60:40 split folding seats and Hydraulic brake assist. Price is Rs 21 lakhs on road (expected).
Colour options on offer with the Tata Harrier include Ariel Silver, Calisto Copper, Orcus White, Telesto Grey, and Thermisto Gold. Unfortunately, these are the only five colours that are on offer with the Harrier SUV. In comparison with the ultra modern looks of the car, the colours offered don’t do any justice.
