Tata Hexa is essentially a revamped and rebranded Aria which ditches its MPV identity to become an SUV. Bold front fascia, squared off rear fascia, SUV-ish elements like lower body cladding, roof rails, flared wheel arches, etc., help it distance itself from its not-so-popular predecessor.

The interior too has been subjected to a significant redesign. The new signature multifunction steering wheel, a modernized centre console with a touchscreen infotainment system spruce up the cabin. The Aria’s multiple roof-mounted storage compartments have been done way with.

Powering the Hexa is the same 2.2-litre VARICOR 400 diesel engine which debuted on board the Safari Storme. The motor is tuned to generate 154 bhp and 400 Nm of torque. A 6-speed manual gearbox and a 6-speed AT which debuted in the Thai-spec Xenon pickup will constitute the transmission lineup.
