Tata Motors has announced a special festive campaign called ‘Festival of Gifts’ for car buyers in India. This campaign runs till the 31st October and the assured gifts include Tanishq Vouchers, iPhone X, Tablets, 32” LED TVs and more worth up to INR 1 lakh on every purchase of a new Tata car.
Buyers will have to download the ‘Festival of Gifts’ app from the Play Store or register on the Tata Motor’s website to avail these offers. Benefits will be extended to INR 73,000 on the Tigor, INR 57,000 on the Nexon and INR 87,000 on the Storme. The Hexa will come in with discounts and benefits upto INR 98,000.
Tata Hexa is a premium SUV that is seen with a host of features. It is presented in 6 and 7 seater layouts and offers a comfortable ride. Exchange discounts also included for the festive season, extend to INR 25,000 along with an additional 1 year insurance.
Tata Hexa is priced between INR 12.57-17.97 lakhs. It is offered in 7 variants of XE, XM, XMA, XM+, XT, XTA and XT 4×4 and competes with the Toyota Innova Crysta, Mahindra XUV500 and Mahindra Marazzo in the Indian market. Features include projector headlamps, automatic headlights, LED DRLs and a host of safety features among which are 6 airbags, ABS, EBD, ESP, cruise control, rain sensing wipers, mood lighting besides traction control system, hill descent control and hill hold control.
It gets its power via a 2.2 liter VARICOR diesel engine in two states of tune. On the base XE variant the engine offers 150 PS power and 320 Nm torque while on other variants the engine is capable of 156 PS power and 400 Nm torque.
The engine gets mated to a 6 speed manual transmission on all variants while on the XM and XT variants it gets a 6 speed automatic. ARAI testing confirms fuel efficiency to the extent of 17.6 kmpl. Tata Hexa is a rival to the Mahindra XUV500.
