Tata Indica Vista D90 engine, tech specs, and images


Tata Motors launched their new and powerful hatchback, Indica Vista D90 earlier today. Powered by 1.3L Fiat sourced diesel engine, which generates 90 PS and delivering a topspeed of 154 kmph with an unmatched mileage of 21.12 kmpl.

Competing in the premium A2 segment of the Indian auto industry, the Tata Indica has over 230,000 owners today. Tata says, Indica is amongst the top three cars in the segment, which sees around 15 cars competing. The new Vista D90 mainly competes with the new Maruti Suzuki Swift. The main updates include the addition of VGT – Variable Geometry Turbocharger, which helps in achiieving a 0-60 in just 6.3 seconds, while a 0-100 is possible in 15.5 seconds. It is available in five color choices and two trims at a starting price of Rs 5.99 lakhs. Tata also unveiled a D90 Extreme Concept at the launch today.
