Tata Motors is all set to launch their new Indigo Manza which will be seen with minor cosmetic updates just ahead of the festive season in India. With launch dates set for October 16, 2012, the new Indigo Manza will be seen with a new 75 bhp diesel engine for its base trim also called LS. The higher variant will be called the LX and will see various updates in addition to those seen in the LC. LX will get electrically operated AC controls while engine will be a 1.3 liter 90 bhp diesel and 90 bhp petrol engine.
Buyers will also be able to opt for touchscreen navigation system if they so desire. Top of the range is EX and will possess all updates seen in lower two variants while will also include an automatic climate control, eight spoke alloy wheels and will come with a contrasting shade on the roof as an option. A new top end model EXL is also being offered and this will see features such as a touchscreen navigation system, automatic climate control, ANS alloy wheels and premium leather upholstery in its interiors.
Pricing is yet unknown, but it is hoped that Tata Motors prices this new model competitively so as to ensure better sales in their C Segment. Currently Tata Manza is available both in petrol and diesel variants. Its petrol engine is a 1.4 liter offering 90 bhp and 116 Nm torque while the 1.3 liter Fiat Multijet diesel engine offers 90 bhp and 200 Nm torque. Both engines are mated to a five speed manual transmission.
