A new fully integrated 3-S Commercial Vehicle Dealership has been launched in Yangon, Myanmar by Tata Motors along with Apex Greatest Industrial Company Limited. This is the first of its kind in the country and it will be on the foundation of this set up, that all future dealerships in the country will be based. Specializing in sales, service and the availability of original spares for the entire range of Tata Motor’s Commercial Vehicles, the dealership will display an entire range of Tata vehicles in truck and bus range.
Myanmar is an important market for Tata Motors. There are over 400 Tata vehicles plying on the roads and the new dealership along with those planned in the future is hoped to see this figure being augmented many times over. Two more dealerships are being planned in Yangon which will come up with state of the art facilities. The new dealership is spread over an area of 9000 sq meters and consists of 10 bay workshop and an extensive display area. The dealership caters to training facilities for sales and service technicians based on Tata Motors e-learning modules.
Tata Motors has also entered into a contract with Myanmar Automobile & Diesel Industries Limited under the Government of Myanmar’s Ministry of Industry to set up a new truck assembly plant in Magwe, central Myanmar. This facility will have a capacity to produce a total of 1000 units per annum which will be extended to 5000 units in due course.

Both, Tata Motors – AGI Yangon 3S dealership, along with the assembly facility at the Heavy Truck Plant in Magwe, will further enhance the brand experience and engagement of our customers with the Tata Motors brand in Myanmar.”
