Tata Motors buys stake in a Bangalore based mini-truck renting business

The move is part of the Automaker’s quest to work with smart solutions to enable better quality of life and livelihood for truckers. The investment will be used to expand its footprint to other cities.

The investment gives Tata Motors an insight into technology-driven developments in freight logistics, and into intra-city freight movement. Data analytics derived will be used for R&D to improve product specs in occordance with market requirement.
