Tata Motors delivers 123 buses with AC and automatic transmission to Ahmedabad Janmarg

Owing to Tata Motors automatic transmission buses efficiencies from constant engagement of engine and transmission, fuel costs are positively influenced. Vernon Noronha, Vice President, Defence & Government Business, Tata Motors says the auto manufacturer works closely with stakeholders in using world-class electronic vehicular systems across commercial vehicles to enable connectivity, safety, better fuel economy, along with optimal vehicle performance.

The new buses are most suitable for BRTS operations and are developed for Janmarg. Tata takes pride in partnering Ahmedabad Janmarg to efficiently and safely run their bus services. Built by Tata Marcopolo and operated by private operators, the new AT buses have a floor height of 900mm and length of 12 metres.
