Tata Motors Falcon car unveil Zest and Bolt: LIVE coverage and images

India’s Tata Motors, will begin the run-up to the 2014 Delhi Auto Expo by unveiling two new cars today, Zest under 4 meter sedan, and Bolt hatchback. Codenamed Falcon 5 and Falcon 4, these new car’s will be unveiled at a glittering ceremony in Delhi in a few hours. To be powered by Tata’s new Revotron 1.2l petrol engine, the two new car’s, Zest and Bolt, will mark Tata’s entry in the competitive segment of hatchback and sedan, which is currently ruled by the likes of Maruti Suzuki Swift, DZire, and Honda Amaze. This new engine will deliver 85 PS power and 140 Nm torque. A diesel will also be offered in the new Zest and Bolt along with the petrol, in the form of Fiat sourced 1.3l Multijet engine.

Remember, this is just an unveil, so don’t expect Tata to reveal the price of these cars today. Of the two, Zest and Bolt, Tata is expected to launch Zest first, by June 2014. The bolt hatchback will come-in by the festive season later this year.

Not much to wait, all this, and much more coming to you, straight from the venue in Delhi. Tata press event is scheduled to commence form 11:30 am.

Tata Motors Zest (Falcon 5) and Bolt (Falcon 4) were only unveiled today. They will launch in India in mid 2014, and other countries will follow.
