Mumbai: Tata Motors Group global wholesales (Jaguar Land Rover included) in March 2015 stood at 103,952 units, up 9 pct.

Tata Motors’ commercial vehicles and Tata Daewoo range wholesales last month stood at 38,486 units, down 2 pct. Cumulative commercial vehicle wholesales for the fiscal were 377,841 units, down 13 pct from FY2013-14.

Passenger vehicles global wholesales in March 2015 were reported at 65,466 units, up 16 pct. Cumulative passenger vehicles wholesales for the fiscal were pegged at 604,079 units, up 5 pct over last fiscal.

Global wholesales of Tata Motors’ passenger vehicles in March 2015 were 15,373 units at 17 pct growth. Cumulative wholesales for the fiscal were at 137,600 units, down 5 pct compared to last fiscal. Domestic Tata Motors passenger vehicle sales stood at 15,039 units (PY 12,640 units), up 19 pct backed by strong Zest and Bolt sales. Sales of passenger cars in March 2015 was 12,977 units, up 33 pct. UV sales declined by 28 pct at 2,062 units in March 2015. Cumulative sales of all passenger vehicles in the domestic market for FY 14-15 were 134,080 units, down 3 pct.

Jaguar Land Rover global wholesales for in March were 50,093 vehicles (PY 43,311 units). Jaguar wholesales were at 8,332 vehicles and cumulative wholesales at 76,496 vehicles. Land Rover wholesales for March 2015 were 41,761 vehicles and cumulative wholesales were 389,983 vehicles. Cumulative wholesales for Jaguar Land Rover for the fiscal were 466,479 vehicles, up 9 pct.

In March 2015, Tata Motors reported growth in certain segments: passenger cars (excluding UV’s), M&HCV and exports grew by 33 pct, 20 pct and 5 pct, respectively. Total commercial and passenger vehicles sales (including exports) in March 2015 were reported at 52,479 vehicles (PY 51,184 units), up 3 pct.

Domestic sales of Tata commercial and passenger vehicles were 47,044 units (PY 45,996 units), equating to 2 pct growth over March 2014. Cumulative sales (including exports) for for FY 14-15 were 502,281 units (PY 566,695 units), down 11 pct.

Tata Motors commercial vehicle sales in March 2015 in the domestic market stood at 32,005 units, down 4 pct. LCV sales were at 17,127 units, down 18 pct. M&HCV sales stood at 14,878 units, up 20 pct. Cumulative sales of commercial vehicles in the domestic market for FY2014-15 were 318,268 units, down 16 pct. Cumulative LCV sales was 191,210 units, down 29 pct. M&HCV sales were at 127,058 units, up 15 pct.

March 2015 exports stood at 5,435 units (PY 5,188 units), up 5 pct. Cumulative sales from exports for remained flat for FY2014-15 at 49,933 units.
