Tata Motors NSDC Udaan employment opportunities for J&K youth

tata motors udaan foundationThe purpose of this selection drive is to offer employment opportunities to a total of 144 applicants with the only criterion being that they should be Graduate or Diploma engineers from any of the four disciplines of Mechanical, Automobile, Electrical, Production and Manufacturing from an AICTE approved institute. Candidates should be less than 30 years of age as on 1 October, 2013. Graduate Engineers should have up to 3 years while Diploma Engineers should have between 4 – 7 years of industrial experience so as to comply for this selection program.

The selected candidates will fill in various vacancies across the country in the capacity of Assistant Workshop Managers prior to which they will be given hands on training for a period of 6 months at various educational institutes and Tata Motors Training centers. The candidates will be paid a stipend besides will be offered boarding and lodging opportunities during the period of training. This is the second round of selection ever since Tata Motors signed a MoU with National Skill Development Corporation. The first round was held in June 2013 wherein a total of 56 UDAAN candidates are currently undergoing training.
