Tata Motors has announced a price hike from January 2020. Though no exact percentage of hike is announced as on date, the hike is expected to be up to 3% in view of increased commodity prices. The company also plans launch of a slew of passenger vehicles in the coming months.

These will include the Altroz premium hatchback, a 7 seater Harrier which has been given the name of Gravitas while facelifts of the Tiago, Nexon and Tigor are also being planned along with a micro SUV (H2X).

The Tata Gravitas will be a 7 seater flagship SUV positioned on the OMEGA platform. It will be powered by a Fiat sourced 2.0 liter, 4 cylinder diesel engine that currently powers the Harrier. This engine makes 170 bhp power and 350 Nm torque.

The Gravitas will be launched in February 2020 and will be based on Tata Motors’s new Impact Design 2.0 philosophy. It is this same philosophy that will be used on the other upcoming models such as the Tata Altroz, Tata Nexon Facelift and Nexon EV. In Jan 2020, Tata will launch Altroz hatchback.
