Tata Motors delivers 1100 cars in four states on Ganesh Chaturthi

The company is optimistic of a decent haul this festive season.

Tata Motors’ sales have received a much need shot in the arm this Ganesh Chaturthi as the auspicious day saw the company delivering 1,100 cars in the states of Maharashtra, Gujarat, Chhattisgarh and Madhya Pradesh. Demand was particularly high in the cities of┬áMumbai, Pune, Nagpur, Raipur and Bhopal.

The company says that Maharashtra alone accounted for 700 deliveries yesterday. The relatively new models like the Zest, Bolt and Nano GenX had spearheaded the Ganesh Chaturthi sales. The impressive single day sales performance has made the automaker confident of its prospects in the rest of the festive period.

The Zest, Bolt and Nano GenX witnessed increase in demand for Ganesh Chaturthi.

In order to take advantage of the festive season, the company has introduced anniversary edition of the Zest compact sedan with quite a few additional accessories at a discounted rate. The special edition of the compact sedan which is available in both petrol and diesel engine starts at INR 5.89 lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi).

Moving forward, Tata Motors will be looking forward to augmenting its sales with the introduction of Kite (codename) hatchback and sub-4 metre sedan as well as Hexa SUV.
