Tata Motors today revealed that they have added one more export market to their list as far as their new SUVs are concerned. Tata Nexon compact SUV and Tata Hexa full sized SUV are now launched in Tanzania at an introductory price of TZS 45 million (Rs 14.32 lakhs) and TZS 81 million (Rs 25.78 lakhs) approximately.
For Nexon it is the XMA variant that has been launched. For Hexa, two variants are launched 4×4 MT and XTA automatic variant. The top Hexa variant is priced at TZS 89 million (Rs 28.33 lakhs). Both cars will be on sale via Tata Africa Holdings (Tanzania) Limited (TAHTL) – a subsidiary of Tata Motors. THe will be available at company dealerships starting today. Attractive finance options are also on offer.

Speaking about the Nexon and Hexa, together both these SUVs garner about 5,000 unit sales in India every month. Of the two, Nexon is more popular, thanks to its smaller size and attractive design coupled with feature rich interiors and powerful engine. Nexon is 5 seater SUV and competes with the likes of Maruti Brezza.
Hexa on the other hand is a much bigger car. It is a 7 seater SUV designed to take on the toughest of road conditions. It is powered by a 2.2 liter diesel engine which delivers 154 hp and 400 Nm.
