Tata Motors Personalization Studio was a part of the SmartHub stall at 2016 Auto Expo. The studio allowed customers to personalize Tata cars to suit their tastes and here are few samples of the customized Tata Nexon compact crossover. The Personalization Studio indicates that the automaker could be offering its future customers an option of selecting custom themes for their cars as a part of the purchase process. With personalisation being big, Tata is regularly showing off custom versions. The newest being Tata Nexon SRT Frozen Edition.
Prior to this, 2018 IPL season saw Tata showcase various Nexon IPL edition variants. And while those played with team colours and soft touches, Tata Nexon SRT Frozen Edition is a single colour offering that’s kicking mellow and going with yellow. Yup, all yellow.
Using the studio, customers can select from an array of customization options and color themes for both exteriors and interiors. This facility, if launched, would cover Tata’s relatively new lineup of cars such as the Zica/Tiago, Bolt, Zest, Nexon, Hexa and Safari Storme.
For Nexon, the Personalization Studio has an array of new exterior color options, contrast roofs, alloy wheel designs and decals. Inside, items like dash trim, seat cover color theme, steering cover, etc. could be a part of customization. The most recent update for Nexon buyers was sunroof as an accessory for new and existing customers. This apart, the company has undertaken timely software updates.
Since Tata Nexon launch, the vehicle has helped Tata Motors strengthen it’s position in passenger vehicle sales. For the month of April 2018, Tata Nexon sales beat that of Ford EcoSport. In addition to a standard manual transmission, Tata Nexon AMT was introduced recently.
Apart from the compact SUV, Tata Motors is now fully invested in testing the H5X, which adds one to the company’s SUV lineup.
