Tata Motors is launching the Punch facelift on 13th of January 2026. It is expected to boost its appeal considerably and offer better value and equipment to buyers than it did before. Ahead of its 13th January launch, units of Tata Punch facelift CNG have started to reach showrooms. These particular images are credited to Akash Gore. Let’s take a closer look.
Tata Punch Facelift Colours
Punch facelift will probably be one of the most important car launches of 2026 owing to its sales perspectives and volume projection. Tata Motors will launch Punch facelift on 13th January, 2026, in Mumbai. Ahead of a formal launch, units have started to reach dealerships. This particular unit in question is a CNG variant too, packing two small cylinders like it used to before.

Tata Motors recently revealed Punch facelift’s variant-wise features and even more recently, the six colour options. These include – Cyantafic (Blue), Caramel (Yellow), Bengal Rouge (Red), Daytona Grey (Grey), Coorg Clouds (Silver) and Pristine White. The unit recently seen in the showroom looks like it is Coorg Clouds (Silver).

Punch Facelift Reach Showrooms
Punch facelift gets design revisions concentrated around the fascia, new wheels along with new lighting elements and redesigned bumpers. Changes to sheet metal are not expected with this update. At the front, we now see a sleeker top grille (closed off) and a redesigned lower grille with bull-bar like skid plates.

Headlights are LEDs and are shared with Punch EV. Below these headlights are cornering fog lights which is becoming a rarity in the automotive world. Body cladding is unpainted and the alloy wheel design is new. At the rear, we now get new LED tail lights and even a connected light bar, depending on the variant.

New Interiors
On the inside, Tata Punch facelift comes with a new twin-spoke steering wheel with illuminated Tata logo. This fits into their recent design language and maintains uniformity within the family. Also maintaining family traits are the touch-and-toggle type climate control panel offered only with top variant. One can also see new central AC vents, shared with Punch EV.

Features added include 360-degree cameras, a new 7-inch TFT instrument cluster seen in other Tata cars and more. There could be ADAS suite on offer as well, looking at the front bumper which seems to have a radar module. Main addition comes in the form of a new i-Turbo engine for the first time.

i-Turbo might generate around 108 PS and 140 Nm, similar to i-Turbo variant of pre-facelift Altroz and it will come equipped with a 6-speed manual gearbox. The 1.2 NA Petrol engine will be carried over with 5MT and 5AMT gearbox options. CNG version based on this setup will be offered too, as confirmed by these latest images.
