Tata Motors has announced a new contest on Facebook, Safari Storme Biggest Fan. Participating in this contest is easy. All you need to do is log on to your Facebook account and visit official Safari Storme page on FB. Once on the Storme FB page, you, hit ENTER and all you have to do is caption the photograph and write your dream story about the Tata Safari Storme.
Tata Motors launched Safari Storme into the Indian auto industry on the 17th Oct 2012 with a starting price tag of Rs 9.95 lakhs. Powered by the 2.2L DiCOR turbodiesel engine, the new Safari Storme generates a maximum power of 140 bhp and a peak torque of 320 Nm, while delivering a mileage of 14 kmpl.
Launching the new Safari has not given Tata Motors any boost in sales. Earlier, before the launch of Safari Storme, Tata sold 1,015 units of the SUV (2 months avg, Aug-Sep 2012), while for the month of Oct-Nov 2012, Tata registered 1,028 units.
