Tata Showcased Stealth Editions Of Safari ICE, Harrier EV At Auto Expo 2025

Among the highlights at Tata Motors stall at Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 are Stealth Edition of Tata Safari and Harrier EV along with the Sierra and Avinya X Concept that marked its debut. The Safari Stealth Edition gets a matte black exterior colour scheme while the interiors are also in an all-black makeup. The overall design has remained unchanged.

Tata Safari Stealth Edition – Exteriors

The Tata Safari has a matte black exterior. This colour scheme extends to its blacked-out front grille, black finished alloy wheels, black ORVMs and roof rails as well. It is also set apart with exclusive ‘Stealth’ badging on its front fenders. The vehicles showcased at Auto Expo get roof-mounted LED auxiliary lights too. The same matte black colour scheme is continued in the interiors.

Dashboard design remains unchanged as compared to its standard counterpart. Stealth Black Edition gets a black finish on dashboard sporting a 12.3-inch touchscreen and a 10.25-inch digital driver display unit. It also gets a panoramic sunroof, dual-zone climate controls, wireless phone charging system and black upholstery with ‘Stealth’ stitching on the front seat headrests.

Safety features remain unchanged. The new Safari Stealth continue to sport 7 airbags as standard. They also receive 360-degree cameras and Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS). Tata Motors has made no mechanical changes to the Safari Stealth. It continues to draw its power via a 2.0L diesel engine making 170 hp power and 350 Nm torque. The engine gets mated to a 6-speed MT and 6-speed AT.

Harrier EV Stealth Edition

The Harrier EV on the other hand, has been designed on the Acti.ev platform that also underpins the Punch EV and Curvv EV. The Harrier EV has been fitted with several premium features and advanced technology and also sports some design changes making it stand apart from its ICE (internal combustion engine) counterpart.

Though exact launch date has not been detailed, it is expected to be launched in late 2025. The Harrier EV sports an AWD configuration and gets a 2 motor set up positioned on each axle. Its battery pack and electric motor specifications are yet to be announced. However, it is slated to offer a range of over 500 km on a single charge.

Where pricing is concerned, the Safari which is currently priced from Rs 15.49-26.79 lakh (ex-showroom) could get a marginally higher pricing for its Stealth Edition. Prices of the Harrier EV are yet to be detailed. Estimates reveal that the Harrier EV could start from Rs 25-30 lakh (ex-showroom). Tata Harrier EV will compete with the new Mahindra BE 6, Hyundai Creta Electric and Maruti e Vitara upon launch.
