Just as the festive season commences in the country, Tata Motors has added updates to the Tiago hatchback and Tigor sedan. The top spec variants of both these models now sports fully digital instrument clusters, as against the twin pod set up with analog dials as was seen earlier.
Automotive enthusiast, Laxman Hansraj has shared the first photo and the video of the new instrument cluster. The video shows the display in detail, and how it functions once the car is turned on.
The central display gets tell tale lights, odometer, fuel efficiency readout and the right and left sides of the console sport tachometer and fuel gauge respectively. The top right corner of the instrument cluster gets the engine temperature gauge. Watch the video below.

This upgrade makes its way onto MT and AMT variants of the Tiago and Tigor which include the XZ+ and XZA+ variants. The models sit on larger 15” alloy wheels and get updated projector headlamps as well. Interiors are seen with automatic climate controls which are now offered as standard, power folding wing mirrors and a 7” touchscreen infotainment system.
The introduction of the fully digital instrument cluster on the Tata Tiago and Tigor will make sure that the newly launched cars like Hyundai Grand i10 NIOS, Maruti S-Presso and the Renault Kwid does not affect sales.
Earlier this month, Tata Motors introduced the Pro Package for Tiago with pop up sunroof, ambient mood lighting, sunshades magnetic, camera with display on IRVM and arm rest. The Tigor also got the Pro Package with pop-up sunroof, ambient mood lighting, magnetic sunshades, arm rest and vehicle tracking system. Both these packages are priced at Rs 29,999.
Tata Motors is also getting ready to launch a new special edition Tiago Wizz this festive season. Next year, facelift versions of the Tiago and Tigor are also poised for launch. They will receive updates in terms of features and new look on the exteriors, but more importantly will crash test compliant front ends and BS VI compliant petrol engines. Diesel engines will not be on offer from BS6 update onwards on Tiago and Tigor.
