Malaysia Postal Service orders 553 units of Tata Xenon Pick-ups

553 units of Tata Xenon Single Cab 4×2 Pick-ups with special fabricated box body were handed over to POS Malaysia.

Postal Service Provider in Malaysia, POS Malaysia Berhad received 553 units of Tata Xenon Pick-Up.

These Single Cab 4×2 Pick-Ups with specially designed fabricated box body were presented in a special ceremony and will be used for the company’s logistic Courier, Express and Parcel pick up and delivery services. Tata Xenon Single Cab 4×2 Pick-ups are specially customized and follow an innovative design.

Tata Xenon Single Cab 4×2 Pick-ups are powered by 2.2-liter common rail turbo diesel engine. This engine is capable of 140 PS power at 4,000 rpm and 320 Nm torque at 1,700 to 2,700 rpm mated to a 5-speed gearbox. The specially designed box body allows for more on board comforts and comes in fitted with a reverse camera.

The body structure which is fabricated by Oriental Summit Industries Sdn Bhd (OSI) to EZ-Drive, is robust while chassis frame is able to withstand heavier load capacities. Loading and unloading facilities are easier with access from both rear and sides which meet the demands of POS Malaysia.

As on date, POS Malaysia has a fleet consisting of 9,602 vehicles which include lorries, panel vans, POS on wheels and four wheel drives besides motorcycles. These new Tata Xenon Single Cab 4×2 Pick-ups are being supplied to the company through DRB-HICOM Commercial Vehicles (DHCV), sole dealerships for Tata Motors commercial vehicles in Malaysia.
