The latest addition in the Pulsar family is that of the Pulsar NS 160. New Bajaj Pulsar NS160 is among the most desired of the segment.
The Bajaj Pulsar 160 receives a sporty design, is attractively priced and offers impressive fuel efficiency to which it owes its success. It is presented in attractive colors and receives outstanding features among which are new graphics, instrument console with faux carbon fiber surrounds, side stand indicator and Auto Headlamp on feature.
It features a new 160cc, single cylinder, air cooled, BS IV compliant engine 15.5 PS at 8500 rpm and 14.6 Nm at 6500 rpm. Bajaj Auto claims that NVH levels are much better than any other bike in the segment. It gets front forks and 5 way adjustable Nitrox shock absorbers at the rear. Braking is via disc in front and a drum unit at the rear and the bike also gets a 12 liter fuel tank, clip on handlebars and engine start and engine kill switch.
Bajaj Pulsar NS160 measures a total of 2,012mm in length, 903mm in width and 1,060mm in height. It has kerb weight of 142 kgs, a wheelbase of 1,363mm and ground clearance of 176mm. It sits on 17” alloy wheels fitted with 80/100 tyre at the front and 110/80 tyre at the rear.
Split seats offers good comfort to both rider and pillion, while suspension is tuned to take on bad Indian roads with ease. Bajaj Pulsar NS160 competes with the likes of TVS Apache RTR 160, Honda Hornet 160 R, Suzuki Gixxer, Honda CB Unicorn 150.
