Onset of good monsoon season coupled with upcoming festivities in India has seen increased sale of passenger vehicles during July 2016.

Across all leading manufacturers, it was their UVs that were more in demand for the month of July 2016. Maruti Suzuki India Limited saw its Vitara Brezza receiving more attention while Hyundai Creta, Toyota Innova, and M&M’s TUV300 and KUV100 were also in good demand during the past month.

6 Maruti Suzuki cars, 3 Hyundai cars and 1 Renault car made it to the list of Top 10 selling cars in July 2016. The top two Indian car brands – MSIL posted 13.9% growth during the month while Hyundai Motor sales were up 12.9%.

Maruti Baleno sales boom

The highlight is obviously their UV, Vitara Brezza, which posted sales of 10,232 units, thereby becoming the best selling SUV in the country.
