
The motorcycle segment delivered a strong performance in December 2025, with the top 10 motorcycles cumulatively clocking 7,33,420 units, marking a 41.8% year-on-year growth over December 2024. Improved rural demand, festive season carryover and steady traction across commuter, sporty and mid-capacity segments helped drive volumes.
Top 10 Motorcycles Dec 2025 – Splendor Leads
Splendor once again topped the sales chart with 2,80,760 units, registering a robust 45.9% YoY growth. The commuter motorcycle continued to be the single biggest volume contributor, underlining its unmatched reach and reliability. The performance further strengthened Hero MotoCorp’s dominance in the mass-market segment.

Shine secured second position with 1,41,602 units, growing 40.4% YoY, reinforcing its position as one of the most preferred 125cc motorcycles. HF Deluxe followed with 49,051 units, posting a 17.6% YoY increase, contributing steady volumes in the entry-level commuter space for Hero.
Pulsar and Apache show strong sporty demand
Among sporty commuters, Pulsar delivered a solid performance with 79,616 units, growing 21.4% YoY. Apache also emerged as one of the biggest gainers, selling 45,507 units, more than doubling its volumes with a massive 117.9% YoY growth – reflecting sustained demand for performance-oriented motorcycles from Bajaj and TVS respectively.

The mid-size motorcycle segment remained healthy, led by Classic 350, which recorded 34,958 units, up 18% YoY. Bullet 350 posted 24,849 units, growing a strong 76.9% YoY, while Hunter 350 saw 20,654 units, up 50.3% YoY. Together, these models underline consistent demand for Royal Enfield’s 350cc portfolio.
Unicorn and Raider add to volume momentum
Unicorn registered 33,640 units, growing 60.3% YoY, while Raider recorded 22,783 units, up 30.5% YoY. Both models contributed meaningfully to their respective OEMs’ monthly tallies, highlighting balanced demand across practical commuters and youthful offerings from Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India and TVS.
