Petrol engine options include a 1.2 litre DOHC engine that produces 80 PS max. power at 5,600 rpm and a 1.5 litre DOHC engine producing only 90 PS max. power at same 5,600 rpm. Diesel engine (D4D) has 1.4 litre of displacement, capable of churning out only 68 PS max. power at 3,800 rpm.
Styling features in Etios Cross includes big front grille, lower side and rear body cladding, 10-spoke alloy wheels and roof rails & spoiler. The crossover also comes equipped with ORVM & fog lamps with integrated turn indicators and rear defogger with wiper.
Notable interior features consist of Piano Black trims, upholstery with white stitch & logo, leather wrapped steering wheel, driver seat height adjustment, tachometer & clock in instrument console, 2-DIN entertainment system with bluetooth, USB, AUX-in and remote, and steering mounted audio controls.
Etios Cross is claimed to have best in class air conditioning and suspension setup tuned for Indian roads. It also offers safety features such as Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) with Electronic Brake-force Distribution (EBD), Collision absorbing body, driver & passenger side airbags, and anti-corrosion & anti-chip coating.
Color options will include new Inferno Orange along with White, Celestial Black, Classic Grey, Ultramarine Blue, Vermilion Red, Symphony Silver, and Harmony Beige.
