Toyota Etios sales cross 4 lakh – First Etios was launched in 2011

Toyota Kirloskar Motor is celebrating more than 4 lakh Etios Series customers in India. Designed for the Indian Market Etios series spans Platinum Etios, Etios Liva and Etios Cross. Over time, the company has introduced timely refreshes. Liva sales growth for April – September 2018 grew 10 percent over Liva sales in the same 5 months in 2017.

Etios series has moved forward with the ‘safety first, customer first and Make in India by Indian engineers’ ethos having given Toyota the chance to give responsibility at the regional level and in regards to product design with strategy.

Etios Series was launched in India in 2011, and is available as a private car and fleet vehicle. The company holds the Etios Series in high regard as it checks the boxes in the following attributes – class comfort, unmatched safety features, high resale value, low cost of ownership and high fuel economy.

Platinum Etios and Etios Liva were launched in September 2016. A dual tone Etios Liva has also been introduced in the market and played a role in advancing personal segment sales growth of Liva to 95 percent. Liva Dual Tone Limited Edition is a recent launch. The limited Etios Cross X- Edition was introduced in September 2017.

Etios series offers dual SRS airbags and ABS with EBD across all variants as standard. The same is true for front seat belts with pre-tensioner and force limiter, Isofix child seat locks. When tested, Etios was awarded 4 Stars in a Global NCAP crash test.
