At the Bangkok Motor Show 2016, open to public through 23rd March-3rd April 2016, Toyota Motors Thailand is showcasing the Toyota Fortuner TRD Sportivo.
Having recently launched Toyota Vios with Dual VVT-i + CVT tech, TRD Sportivo is the latest offering on Thai shores. Toyota Fortuner TRD Sportivo has a distinct look with a tougher appearance and suspension. Toyota Motor Asia Pacific Engineering Co. Manufacturing, Thailand (TMAP-EM) engineers have undertaken design duties on the car.
The sportier Fortuner TRD Sportivo wears distinct style inserts. There’s a hugeish front bumper, prominent front grille with Toyota insignia, and TRD sportivo lettering included sufficiently in the SUV body. The TRD’s stainless steel exhaust system, tailgate, floor mats and alloys are unique to it. Its sporty appeal gets a boost with a black roof and 20-inch alloy wheels.
Toyota Fortuner TRD Sportivo interior character is a combination of red and black leather. The instrument panel is an exclusive design offering. JBL Power Amp 11 speakers and T-Connect all-new navigation system are in use. It also gets Sportivo Plush Seats.
New Sportivo uses a 2.8-litre diesel turbo engine under the hood to produce 177hp of power and 450 Nm torque mated to a six-speed automatic transmission. The suspension is fine tuned further, and four-wheel disc brakes are in use.
