Toyota Fortuner TRD Sportivo, Corolla Altis ESport and Altis TRD Edition at Bangkok Motor Show


35th Bangkok International Motor Show opens its doors at Challenger Hall, Impact Muang Thong Thani, March 25, 2014 to April 6, 2014 and Toyota has a host of new offerings on display. Toyota is showcasing the new Fortuner TRD Sportivo, Toyota Corolla Altis ESport and Altis TRD Edition.

Toyota Fortuner TRD Sportivo SUV with its TRD pack brings with it a slew of external updates in the form of new bumper spoilers, side skirts and hood scoop. Also evident is a new alloy wheel design, LED lights on its bumper and body graphics. Carbon fiber trims on dashboard and contrasting red accents on gear lever add a sporty appeal.

Toyota_FV2 (2)Toyota is presenting the new Fortuner in Thailand in a choice of three engine options which include a 3.0 liter four cylinder diesel engine offering 171 hp and 360 Nm torque, 2.7 liter petrol engine producing 160 hp and 241 Nm torque while the base variant is powered by a 2.5 liter diesel offering 144 hp and 343 Nm torque.

Toyota_FV2Also on display are the Toyota Corolla Altis Standard, Altis ESport and Altis TRD Edition already launched in Thailand. Altis ESport receives a new radiator grille with a Gun Metallic strip, LED projector headlights, Surface Illumination rear LED lights and 17” alloy wheels. Interiors are seen in black leather while front seats are padded. The Altis ESport is powered by a 1798cc four cylinder engine offering 141 ps peak power and 18.05 kgm torque while being mated to a 7 speed CVT. Pricing of the Corolla Altis ESport starts at 899,000 baht.
