In line with evolving consumer needs and preferences, Toyota has introduced a curated Tech Package for the Hyryder SUV. It includes multiple new features focused on enhancing safety and the overall premium feel. This package, priced at Rs 29,499, is available with all variants of the Hyryder. Hyryder Tech Package – What’s included?
For a livelier cabin experience, the tech package includes ambient lighting. Users can create the perfect mood with a multitude of available personalization options. With this feature, Hyryder’s cabin feels more welcoming and relaxing. Another useful feature is a head-up display (HUD), which improves both convenience and safety.
Users can access all essential driving information without taking their eyes off the road. Ambient lighting and head-up display are already available with the Hyryder, but only with select variants. The Tech Package ensures availability across all variants of the Hyryder. Hyryder’s Tech Package also includes a dashcam, which has become an essential feature for both urban and highway driving.
The video evidence plays a key role in ensuring your overall safety when dealing with challenging situations. It can also be useful for insurance claims. Instead of choosing aftermarket dashcams, users can now get the official version with Hyryder’s Tech Package. Toyota has announced that the new Tech Package for Hyryder will be available across all Toyota dealerships in the country.
It can be installed with all variants of Hyryder. This tech package is in addition to the accessories already available with the Hyryder. Talking specifically about interior accessories, options include wireless charger, tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS) and music system.
Toyota Hyryder – A popular C-segment SUV
Hyryder is currently ranked third in the list of bestselling 4.2m – 4.4m SUVs. It trails Hyundai Creta and Maruti Grand Vitara. In December, Hyryder sales were at 7,022 units, which is close to 15% market share in this segment. Powered by its consistent performance, the Hyryder recently achieved a major milestone of surpassing cumulative sales of 2 lakh units.
The SUV is also exported to various global markets. Prices in India start at Rs 10.94 lakh (Ex-sh). Key USPs of Toyota Hyryder include its strong hybrid powertrain option and an impressive mileage of 27.97 km/l. 4WD option is available with variants equipped with the 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine. This engine generates 103.06 PS and 136.8 Nm of torque.
Transmission choices include 5MT and 6AT. Fuel efficiency is 21.11 km/l with 2WD 5MT, 20.59 km/l with 2WD 6AT and 19.20 km/l with AWD 6AT. The 1.5-litre petrol engine used with the strong hybrid variants of Hyryder generates 92.45 PS and 122 Nm. The electric motor contributes 80.2 PS and 141 Nm. Max combined power output is 115.56 PS.
Hyryder strong hybrid variants are equipped with an e-Drive transmission. Hyryder is also available with factory-fitted CNG option. When running on CNG, output is 87.8 PS and 121.5 Nm. The CNG variant is offered with a 5-speed manual transmission. Mileage in CNG mode is 26.6 km/kg.
Hyryder has sporty styling and packs in a comprehensive range of premium features. Key highlights include a panoramic sunroof, smartphone connectivity, voice commands, wireless charging and ventilated seats. Also included are features such as a 9-inch touchscreen, 7-inch TFT colour instrument display, USB ports and rear AC vents.
