Toyota Kirloskar Motors has recorded a marginal decline in sales for the month of October 2015, as compared to October 2014.

October 2015 saw Toyota India report total sales of 13,601 units. Of these, 12,403 units were sold on the domestic market, while 1,198 units were exported during the month.

These when compared to figures of October 2014, the company registered a marginal decline in domestic sales, and a marginal growth in exports. In Oct 2014, Toyota India sold 12,556 units in the domestic market, and exported 1,160 units.

Speaking about sales during January to October 2015, the company has posted growth of 12% as compared to sales registered in January to October 2014. Cumulative sales during January to October 2015 period were up 9% to 119,095 units as against 108,863 units sold in the same period in the previous year. During the first nine months, it was the Etios series that saw increased demand.

The newly launched Liva has received overwhelming demand during this period along with the Camry and Fortuner TRD. The new Camry Hybrid has also been a major seller contributing 90% to total Camry sales.

Toyota Kirloskar Motors also gears up for the upcoming festive season with recent launch of new Land Cruiser 200. Priced at INR 1,29,00,000; Land Cruizer is being offered in two new exterior colors of Copper Brown & Dark Blue Mica besides existing colors of Super White, White Pearl Crystal Shine, Silver Metallic, Grey Metallic, Black, Attitude Black, Dark Red Mica Metallic & Beige Mica Metallic. The new Land Cruiser also sports new interior colors of Brown and Flaxen and exclusive features that include a steering wheel with heater, LED illumination, tyre pressure monitor, and enhanced multi terrain monitor cameras.
