Toyota Innova Crysta, Fortuner, Corolla, Etios Dec discounts – Up to Rs 1.25 L

Toyota Kirloskar Motors is offering hefty discounts on its range of cars, MPVs and SUVs in India through the month of December 2018.This is the third year of Toyota’s ‘Remember December’ scheme and is available at all company dealerships so as to clear inventory of its older models. These discounts come at a time when Toyota has also revealed that prices will be increased by 4% from January 2019.

Toyota Fortuner is offered at a discount / benefits of upto Rs 1.25 lakhs. The 7 seater Fortuner is one of the rugged and reliable SUVs, but gears up to face competition from new Mahindra Alturas. The Toyota Fortuner is powered by a 2.8 liter diesel engine and 2.7 liter petrol engine mated to a 5 speed manual or 6 speed automatic transmission sending power to rear wheels.

The Toyota Yaris can be had at discount and benefits upto Rs 1.1 lakhs. This sedan has not seen much success in India and faces severe competition from more popular sedans such as the Maruti Ciaz, Honda City and Hyundai Verna. However, the selling point on the Yaris is its outstanding safety features and a total of 7 airbags which is offered across all variants

Toyota Innova Crysta ‘Remember December’ discounts extend to Rs 1 lakh. This MPV faces new competition from the new Mahindra Marazzo. The Innova Crysta draws its power via a 2.7 liter petrol engine offering 166 hp power and 2.4 liter diesel and 2.8 liter diesel engines offering 150 hp and 174 hp power respectively.

The Toyota Etios sedan and the Toyota Corolla Altis are also a part of the December discount scheme at Rs 1 lakh and Rs 75,000 respectively. The Etios range includes the Etios Liva and Etios Cross, both of which are powered by petrol and diesel engine options mated to a 5 speed manual transmission as standard.

The Corolla Altis is powered by a 1.8 liter petrol engine offering 140 hp power and a 1.4 liter diesel capable of 88hp peak power. The Corolla Altis sedan competes with the Skoda Octavia and Hyundai Elantra.
