The new-gen 7-seat MPV emerges as a vastly improved package so expect a significant price hike.

The Toyota Innova Crysta variant lineup has been leaked in the form of an e-brochure. The leaked image not only reveals that the new-gen family MPV will be available in three trims – GX, VX and ZX – but also confirms the presence of the range-topping 2.8-litre GD diesel engine.

The base 2.4-litre engine produces an impressive 149 PS and 343 Nm of torque while the bigger oil burner develops 174 PS and 360 Nm of torque. Transmission options include a 5-speed manual and a 6-speed automatic (only in GX and ZX trims). It remains to be seen whether the new Innova Crysta will be available with a petrol engine or not.
