
Toyota Innova Hycross, a popular MPV in the company lineup ever since it was launched in 2022, garners significant sales for the company each month. Presented in a range of variants and across both petrol and hybrid powertrain options, the Hycross competes efficiently with rivals and maintains a cult following among discerning premium MPV buyers.
Toyota has just announced a price hike for the Innova Hycross. A price hike has also been introduced on the Toyota Fortuner with immediate effect. This we have detailed in a separate post.
Toyota Innova Hycross Variant-wise Price Hike
Innova Hycross is offered in a total of six trim levels among which are the GX, GX (O), VX, VX (O), ZX and ZX (O). Following the recent price hike, the Innova Hycross is now priced between Rs 19.94 lakh to Rs 31.34 lakh (ex-showroom). The base variants see a Rs 17,000 price hike while higher hybrid trims come in with a price hike ranging from Rs 34,000 to Rs 36,000. The company has not given any reasons for this increase in prices.
Starting with the base trim, the Innova Hycross GX 7-seater/ GX 8-seater which was earlier priced at Rs 19.77 lakh and Rs 19.82 lakh is now at a new pricing of Rs 19.94 lakh and Rs 19.99 lakh respectively. The GX (O) 7-seater/ GX (O) 8-seater which earlier carried price tags of Rs 21.13 lakh and Rs 20.99 lakh, now receives a Rs 17,000 price increase to Rs 21.30 lakh and Rs 21.16 lakh.
Higher hybrid trims such as the VX 7-seater hybrid and VX 8-seater hybrid are now priced at Rs 26.31 lakh and Rs 26.36 lakh following a Rs 34,000 price hike. The company has introduced a Rs 35,000 price hike across the VX (O) 7-seater hybrid and VX (O) 8-seater hybrid. These two variants, which were earlier priced at Rs 27.94 lakh and Rs 27.99 lakh respectively are now at a new pricing of Rs 28.29 lakh and Rs 28.34 lakh. (Ex-showroom).
Toyota Innova Hycross Powertrain Options
Top spec trims such as the ZX hybrid and ZX (O) hybrid carry the highest price increase. Prices have been raised by Rs 36,000 across both these variants. The new prices now stand at Rs 30.70 lakh and Rs 31.34 lakh respectively. These increases in prices are not associated with any improvement in specifications, features or equipment nor do they come in with any accessories.
Toyota Innova Hycross is presented in petrol and hybrid powertrain options. The 2.0L naturally aspirated petrol unit offers 175 hp power and 209 Nm torque. It gets mated to a CVT. The Innova Hycross hybrid sports a 2.0L strong hybrid powertrain. This engine makes a combined output of 186 hp and 188 Nm when mated to an e-CVT transmission. This strong hybrid offers a claimed mileage of 21.1 km/l.
