Toyota Motors will be unveiling their all new Land Cruiser SUV at the Chicago Auto Show later this month. The iconic Japanese SUV, Land Cruiser was first launched back in the year 1951 and this time around, Toyota is expected to give a minor makeover to the big car, yet again. Current Toyota Land Cruiser shares platform with another Toyota SUV, the Lexus LX570.
By the end of this month, 2013 Land Cruiser will be available at Toyota showrooms across US. Updates for the 2013 Land Cruiser SUV include, new front grille with more chrome, new HID headlights for low beam, LED daytime running lights, newly designed taillights and side mirrors and more chrome on the sides.
On the inside of the new Toyota SUV, you will find shiny wood finish on the dash, AC vents with chrome finishing, all new lighting system, leather seats, eco driving indicator, heated steering wheel, Dynamic Radar Cruise Control, zone display, and Multi terrain display which shows you the view from the side, back or front of the car, one at a time.
Under the hood, sadly there are no changes as 2013 Toyota Land Cruiser will be powered by the same 5.7L V8 generating 381 bhp and 544 Nm torque, which powers the current LC. Though there is one unpleasant change in the 2013 Toyota LC variant, prices have been increased by as much as 13% because of which you will now have to shell out $77,955 in order to buy one.
