Lexus, Toyota’s luxury wing was introduced in India only recently with an initial plan of four dealerships, which the company presents as Lexus Guest Experience Centres (GECs). The dealerships are located at New Delhi, Gurugram, Bombay and Bangalore. In conjunction with the 4 GECs, Lexus operates a wider network in Chandigarh, Hyderabad, Chennai and Kochi. A 24×7 guest call centre compliments the Lexus ownership experience. Lexus Gurgaon dealership was housed within The Oberoi.
Lexus GECs designed around ‘omotenashi’ bring forth exceptional hospitality. A customer is assigned an Lexus Relationship Manager. The company was first introduced in India in 2016.

Lexus ES 300h, RX 450h and LX 450d are on sale in India. LX isn’t a hybrid and gets power from a diesel engine. It is a tad bit odd for a dealership to shutdown this quickly after opening. Lexus does not reveal its sales volumes here.
