Toyota Sales March 2023 at 18,670 Cars – 1,74,015 in FY 2022-23

Toyota Kirloskar Motors has reported outstanding YoY and MoM growth in March 2023 to 18,670 units

Toyota Kirloskar Motor ended the past financial year on a positive note. The company sold 1,74,015 units in FY23, a 41 percent increase when compared to 1,23,770 units. The company saw a YoY growth of 8.98 percent to 18,670 units in March 2023 as against 17,131 units sold in March 2022.

This was a volume growth of 1,539 units. MoM sales on the other hand increased even more significantly by 22.29 percent when compared to 15,267 units sold in Feb 2023. Company models which generated increased demand through the month of March 2023 were the Innova Hycross, Urban Cruiser Hyryder, Innova Crysta and Hilux.

Following positive YoY and MoM growth in March 2023, the company also recorded sales of 46,665 units in Q1 2023 which was a 40.54 percent growth from 33,203 units sold in Q1 2022. This was a volume growth of 13,462 units. In Q4 2022 sales stood at 35,329 units.

Toyota Hycross, which was a recent entrant in the company line-up, has contributed to sales. The company had also opened bookings for the Innova Crysta Diesel in March 2023.

Toyota Optimistic About Future In India

Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) ended the fiscal year in the green, and is optimistic about its growth and momentum in the upcoming years. With steady growth for passenger cars,  TKM was able to capitalize on this trend, and met the diverse mobility needs of its customers. The company’s success in meeting these needs is attributed to its strategy of launching new products, introducing greener and advanced technology options, and focusing on customer service. TKM’s new launches were received well by customers.
