Toyota Yaris India-spec variants, features leaked ahead of launch

Toyota Yaris, the midsized sedan is geared up for launch in India on 18th May 2018. Team BHP has got hold of its brochure, which details the car like never before.

It will be offered in four variants – J, G, V and VX and in exterior color options of Super White, White Pearl Crystal Shine (G, V and VX grades only), Silver Metallic, Grey Metallic, Wildfire Red and Phantom Brown. Detailed features on offer on each of the variants are as follows:

On the Toyota Yaris J variant, features will include halogen projector headlamps, body colored ORVMs and door handles, electric adjustment for ORVMs, shark fin antenna, HSEA glass, keyless entry, manual AC and driver adjustable seat. It will also be seen with power windows at the front and rear, day and night IRVMs and Optitron Meter with LCD Mid. Other on board features will include cooled glove box, 60:40 split seats, audio system with 4 speakers, rear armrest with cupholder, power steering with tilt adjustment and central locking. 7 airbags and ABS with EBD will be offered as standard.

Toyota Yaris G variant will get all the above features and some additional features to include a Chrome grille, electrically adjustable and retractable ORVMs with integrated turn indicator, acoustic and vibration control glass, smart entry, Optitron Meter with TFT MID, automatic AC controls and push-button start. It will be seen with steering audio controls,7-inch AVN infotainment system with four speakers, Roof-mounted air vent with ambient lighting, two rear parking sensors and front and rear fog lamps besides speed sensing auto door lock and impact sensing door unlock.

Toyota Yaris V will also receive all the features presented with the J and G variants apart from other onboard features such as 15” alloy wheels, Auto headlamps with Follow-Me Home function, rain sensing wipers, LED rear combination lamps with line guide, 7” AVN infotainment system with 6 speakers and cruise control. It receives front and rear parking sensors and all wheel disc brakes.

In addition to all the above features seen on the J, G and V variants, the top of the line Toyota Yaris VX variant will be seen with LED DRLs, chrome door handles, paddle shifters, 7” AVN infotainment system with 6 speakers and leather seats. It also gets an 8 way power adjustable driver seat, rear sunshade and VSC, HAC and TPMS.

Bookings of the new Toyota Yaris open at company dealerships from 22nd April 2018. Once officially launched in India, the Toyota Yaris will compete with the Honda City, Maruti Suzuki Ciaz and the Hyundai Verna in the mid size sedan segment.
