With Pune, Ahmedabad, and Mumbai getting their exclusive Triumph dealerships, it will not be long before these mighty beasts are seen across the streets of these cities. In fact the excitement has already started to kick in. Triumph recently organized an event in Ahmedabad which saw participation from female riding group called ‘Ridernis’. Triumph has commenced bookings in 8 cities across India. With a target of 9 dealerships by end of May, the company hopes to get a firm foothold in the country and capture the segment on a war footing. 326 bookings in 20 weeks have already been registered with just 3 dealerships opened while the new dealerships will take Triumph Motorcycles to greater heights.
Triumph Motorcycles marked its entry into India on 28th November 2013, with a total of 10 models, each of which are brought into the country via the CBU route from Thailand while some models make their way in as CKD kits, assembly of which takes place at Manesar, Haryana. Each of these models come in with 2 years unlimited mileage warranty.
Sales and service staff of Triumph India have been put through extensive training while the company has entered into an agreement with HDFC for attractive finance schemes to buyers. Besides offering models such as Bonneville and Bonneville T100, Thruxton, Speed Triple, Street Triple, Tiger 800 XC, Tiger Explorer, Thunderbird Storm, Rocket III Roadster, Daytona 675 and Daytona 675R, company dealers will also offer accessories and merchandise and provide efficient after sales service to customers.
